Regular lubrication of your shredder cutters is essential to maintain peak shredding performance. Fellowes paper shredder oil lubrication sheets conditions the cutters to extend the life of your shredder. For the best results, it is important to oil your shredder each time you empty the wastebasket or a minimum of twice a month. To oil your shredder, simply feed the lubrication sheet into the paper entry and release (You may need to use more sheets for paper shredders with a wider paper entry). Once the lubrication sheet has been shredded, run the shredder in reverse for 2-3 seconds and simply repeat the instructions when you empty your paper waste bin again. This Fellowes product contains 10 paper shredder oil lubricant sheets to help maximise shredding performance.
